  1. Greeting :

  1. Asking homework:

T: What was your homework?
P: Learn by heart the songs.
P: Write the letters.

  1. Fixing new lesson:

Activity3. Play “Run and point”
This activity can help to enable pupils to recognize voiced and unvoiced endings in plurals.
Time: 10 m Steps Interaction

    1. Teacher puts on the board two pictures as in the Pupil’s book Whole class

(a snake and bees).

    1. Teacher explains that they are going to play a game.

    2. Teacher says that when she says a word with voiced ending (e.g. bags)

    3. Children must run and point the picture with bees.

    4. When teacher says a word with unvoiced ending (e.g. cats)

    5. Children must run and point the picture with a snake.

    6. Teacher divides pupils into 2 teams and puts them into 2 rows against the board.

    7. Teacher demonstrates what to do with the first pupils in the rows.

    8. Teacher says “Bags” and lets the first pupils run and point the picture with bees.

    9. Teacher can say the words they know from Class 1, for example: hop, swim, jump, fly, horse, cow, goat, sheep, rooster, hen, dog, cat, duck, lion, pen, pencil,

book, etc.

    1. Teacher asks the pupils to look at the picture.




Activity4. Look and say.
This activity can to enable pupils to use the structure “I’ve got …” with school things

  1. Teacher explains that the pupils there are playing a game.

  2. Teacher says that the first boy is saying: “I’ve got two pens.” and the girl is saying: “I’ve got three pens.”

  3. Play the DVD

  4. Teacher asks the pupils to listen and repeat what the pupils in the picture are saying.

  5. After that ask the pupils to look at the next girl and boy with books and guess what these children are saying.

  6. Teacher asks her pupils to put all their school things on the desks and prepare for a game.

  7. Teacher says that they will play a similar game.

  8. Teacher demonstrates what to do with the first pair.

  9. Teacher can revise by asking a question. “What’s this?” or “Is it a pen?” etc.
