Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
You’re Invited! Please join us for a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on the new playground on August 31st at 8:30 a.m.
The ribbon cutting ceremony for the new playground is to thank all of the sponsors, donors, parents, staff, PTA and everyone else who participated and helped raise funds at our 2016 PTA Auction, to bring such a wonderful addition to our playground at IVE.
The new addition, which is crossfire playground equipment, goes hand in hand with our emphasis on health and fitness in our schools. We are excited to offer this to our students to use during PE, recess and after school, as well as something readily available for our community.
This will happen prior to our official back to school kickoff.
We encourage families to join us prior to meeting their new teachers. The playground is ready for you!

Salmon Days Volunteers Needed!
Parents and Friends of IVE,
We need volunteers for Salmon Days Parking this year. During Salmon Days, the PTA offers parking at the administration building and on our IVE playground. This has been a great fundraiser for our PTA! The chairs or co-chairs of this committee organize volunteers to collect money and direct cars. We will make sure you know exactly what needs to be done.
With Salmon Days right around the corner on October 1st and 2nd we need volunteers!
Please contact Carla Geraci at president@ivepta.org if you are willing to volunteer to take a shift parking cars!
Thank you!
