However, there were some distractions during the lesson. For example, a student wanted to go out in the middle of the second track and they were allowed to go out, students’ attention was disturbed and it influenced to the results. We tried to keep the lesson atmosphere balanced. All points considered, the lesson arranged very energetically and effectively and at the end of the lesson students were asked to do listening task The second lessonalso was held in the theme of “Discussion about styles” February 21 with pupils. This lesson was devoted to styles that are formal and informal. There are so many phrases and collecations belonged to the topic. Firstly, we listened to two types of speech from audio speaker and pupils had to guess the pupils which is formal and informal speech. In this situation, Bibisora have found correctly answer the first one is informal speech because her brother lives in London so she listens to his speech more. The second one is considered formal.
To be more specific, we have prepared two posters for the lesson, the initial was devoted to phrases, vocabularies belonged to formal speech and the next one described the abbreviations, vocabularies of informal styles. After that we divided into two groups that consisted of six pupils, the first group had to count vocabularies in the formal styles and the other informed about the words of informal speech. They were motivated to do the task conscientiously and they did it attentively and eagerly. As a matter of fact, they were fully informed about both styles.
In next task, we created an atmosphere of debate about advantages and disadvantages of informal speaking in school. Students were encouraged to say their opinions freely. The issue was discussed spiritedly. After this, track about on this very matter was played. They did not the listening task individually. After checking, it is clarified that the students made very few mistakes as they did the task fervently. Students were asked to do listening task At the end of the lesson, students who participated actively in the process were asseted high marks.
The third lesson of this investigation was held on February 28 with 10th grade pupils of secondary school. It was devoted to “International Day of Mothers” because the students chose this theme themselves because those day was coming and they did one of the most favorite activities of the students which sang a song and it goes without saying that songs play a significant role in improving speaking skills of the students.
This lesson was very interesting because some students offered to make a video in order to congratulate their mothers by representing their wishes with in English and we prepared the video in the netbook with students. The task of the activity was that each learner had to speak at least three sentences so as to wish their desires. Pupils performed this activity with pleasure
The kids were then given handouts. That resource contains information on all genres of music from throughout the world. Students worked in small groups and presented specific types of ideas to the rest of the class. They considered the task unusual because the majority of the information they acquired was completely new to them.
Students were asked to write feedback at the end of the lesson about how they were affected by using visual aids in this class, whether their interest in speaking increased noticeably as a result of using visual aids, whether they will take serious action in the future to develop not only their speaking skills but also their sociocultural competence, and what plans they have for dealing with this subject matter.
The fourth lesson of this research was conducted on March 14. That lesson was also about “Online study”, to be more detailed. The lesson was started with brainstorming concerning the technical things. Students know a good amount of information and tell it turn by turn. This lesson offers a variety of activities based on the topic. Task 1 is a warm up activity that introduces the topic of spying.
Task 2 is filling the crossword and finding hidden words and these words consists of 12. All of them are the name of technical equipment which is used during lesson and also the pictures of these words are given in the screen of the computer. Most of boys easily found it the reason for having interests this field.
In task 3 we have discussed about the advantages and drawbacks of online study with students. There were so many ideas and opinions that were given by students. Dilobar’s points was very great. She said that online study demands some requirements such as the Internet, a computer or mobile phone and some study programme that are a Zoom, Moodle but we don’t have knowledge about this and we live in countryside so sometimes net connection is very bad. That’s why studying offline is much more beneficial for us. Some pupils agreed to her. This task was very energetic for students. All of them gave their own views.
At the end of the lesson, actively participated students were presented with the good marks and all the students were encouraged to listening task. The fifth lesson of this investigation was carried out on April 28. It was dedicated to the theme of ’’Using The internet”. From this lessons we changed activities to individual learners. In the begin of the lesson, we watched the video about the background of the internet and we analyzed it with the members of students in the class. We did some tasks.
The first task was to determine if the statements were true or false. Learners engage in pairs or small groups to organize, prepare, research, and present their ideas for using the internet in the last portion of the session. Learners can choose to create a classroom exhibit as an optional exercise. Then, with a raised hand, all other pupils had to chat to someone to better grasp the question and how to solve it. We utilized an activity called Exit slips at the end of the class. We asked students to write for one minute on a specific issue for this assignment. "What was the most significant thing they learned today?" was the question. Then we determined whether or not to have a discussion about it in our next class. Students were requested to provide feedback on the lesson in writing.
"Pros and disadvantages of online education" was the topic of the sixth lesson. Our class started with some brainstorming questions about Covid-19. This course is designed for teachers who operate in face-to-face classes that have Covid-19 constraints. The instruction at the start of the lesson plan is intended to offer suggestions for how to manage pair and group work in a physically separated classroom. It is merely a suggestion, and your case may differ. It's possible that you'll need to modify the lesson to fit the situation. If you're working in a 'hybrid' learning scenario, you can also refer to an online version of this lesson plan. Hybrid learning is the method of teaching remote and in-person students at the same time via virtual instruction. Students were asked to do listening task There was a brief discussion between the students and the researcher at the conclusion of the class. In this talk, all of the lessons' outcomes were addressed, as well as how motivation played a role for them during those six lessons. The majority of the students had positive feelings about such classes, and they stated that they had learned a lot in those lessons.
We collected student comments at the end of the process, and each student did three listening tasks to compare. Students wrote contributions for the first, third, and sixth lessons, concluding that the theme "Hobbies" is the most engaging topic for them and that the classes' value is recognized as the finest. This theme has a high motivation rate among students. So, we've arrived at the conclusion that employing visual aids to help students improve their speaking skills is a successful way to use a flexible instructional environment, modern methods, making presentations, and a variety of fun and interactive methods.
