So, for example, the use of various automata and computers in production and everyday life requires a person to strictly observe a certain sequence of actions when using them, which is impossible without preliminary compilation of algorithms.

• Thus, comprehension and development of algorithms for performed actions becomes an essential component of human activity, an integral part of his culture of thinking and behavior. An algorithm is one of the fundamental concepts that is used in various fields of knowledge, but it is studied in mathematics and computer science. Its development begins already in elementary school in mathematics lessons, where students master the algorithms of arithmetic operations, get acquainted with the rules for subtracting a numbers, a sum of a numbers, etc.

• The origin of the term "algorithm" is connected with mathematics. The history of its origin is as follows. In the 9th century, the scientist al-Khwarizmi (full name - Mohammed bin Musa al-Khwarizmi), mathematician, astronomer, geographer. In one of his works, he described the decimal number system and for the first time formulated the rules for performing arithmetic operations on integers and ordinary fractions.
