EU Commission

    1. Specify how effective co-operation and communication will be ensured between the partner institutions, and the main working language(s) to be used.

Cooperation and communication is ensured by various factors including reciprocal knowledge, motivation and friendship and hence, in a general way, by peer pressure. More in detail, messages and newsletters are sent regularly to all partners and are published on the website for reference. The Plenary meetings are working meetings, in which Plenary information and decision making sessions alternate with small group meetings, where specific work groups and Task Forces can make plans and form strategies in a less formal setting. Experience has shown in fact that it in the small groups that real communication can take place and that all Coordinators feel confident to express their views. The small groups have rapporteurs who bring the results of the discussions to the Plenary sessions, sharing insights and preparing decisions of the entire Network.
