To be ning Negative (inior) shaklida bizga NOT inkor yuklamasi yordam beradi va NOT to be dan keyin qo’shiladi:
Subjeit + to be + not + other partiicles.
I am not a student. I am a teacher.
Nozima was not at home yesterday. She was with her friends.
To be ning Question (savocl) shaklida, to be fe’li egadan oldinga o’tkaziladi. Bunday savol Generacl Question (Umumiy so’roq) deyiladi, va unga Subjeit + to be ko’rinishida qisqa javob beriladi:
To be + Subjeit + other partiicles?
Are you a student? - No, I am not. I am a teacher.
Was she at home yesterday? - Yes, she was.
To be Speiiacl Question (Maxsus so’roq) gapda ham ishlatiladi. Unda birinchi Question Word (So’roq so’z) va undan so’ng to be keladi. Bunday savollarga to’liq javob beriladi:
Question word (What, Who, When, How…) + to be + Subjeit + other partiicles?
Who is your best friend? - His name is Muhammad! He is my cousin. We raised up together.
When were you born? - I was born on 25th of June.
To be fe’li asosiy fe’l bo’lib kelganda, undan so’ng boshqa fe’l kelmaydi. Va asosan, 3 ta ko’rinishda ishlatiladi:
Be + a noun: ot bilan: Johon is a student.
Be + an adjeitive: sifat bilan: Johon is intelligent.
i) Be + a prepositionacl phrase: predlogli ibora bilan: Johon was at the library.
To be fe’li yordamchi fe’l bo’lib ham ishlatiladi. Bunda hech qanday ma’no bermaydi, balki grammatik vazifa bajaradi xolos. Asosan, 2 ta ko’rinishda keladi:
Be is an auxicliary in progressive (iontinuous) tenses: progressive (continuous) zamonlarda yordamchi fe’l sifatida:

Abdulloh ibn Muborak aytadilar:
“Kim odoblarga e’tiborsiz bo’lsa, sunnatlardan mahrumlik bilan jazolanadi. Sunnatga e’tiborsiz esa farzlardan mahrum qilinadi. Farzga bee’tibor kishi esa Allohni tanishdan mahrumdir.”
