 “THE MORTALITY IN PATIENTS WITH CUSHIN 
SYNDROME IN THE REPUBLIC OF UZBEKISTAN 
ACCORDING TO THE REGISTER”

The aim of study
: to study mortality in patients with Cushing’s 
syndrome (CS) in the Republic of Uzbekistan (Ruz) according to the 
register.
Material and methods
: According to the etiological classification 
At RUz installed 264 patients with the following clinical forms of 
Cushing’s syndrome: ACTH - 3 SK - 84,5% (223 b-x), including 
pituitary adenoma - 98,2% (219 b-x) ectopic SK 1.8 percent (4 b-x); 
ACTH - independent syndrome of 15.5 41 b) of these korticosteroma 
of 90.2% (37 b-x), adrenaline carcinoma is 4.9% (2-x b-x) and macro-
nodular hyperplasia of the adrenal glands and 4.9% (2 b’s); children and 
adolescents -16,3% (43%) 44% (16) and 56% (24 girls). The average 
age of the disease manifest was 27 + - 0.64 years, with a predominance 
of females (3:1). The most often met microadenomas (mean 56.2%), 
relatively less packagename (40,2%), less often observed macroadenoma 
pituitary (2,3%) were patients who have not identified adenomas (1.4 
per cent). 
Results:
The main cause of death in patients with IC were 
cardiovascular accidents (6.8%), of which myocardial infarction was 
established in 10 (3.7%) patients and 8 (3.1%) of stroke. 
Conclusions
: From 2002 to 2017, only 33 deaths were recorded 
in patients with SC, among patients with ACTH of ck 29 (12.2%) cases 
and among patients with ACTH of NSK 4 (9.8%) cases, the causes 
of which were mainly cardiovascular accidents in 18 (6.8%), purulent 
complications of DM in 9 (3.4%).
