Stage 2 - Identification and subsequent characterization of factors influencing the change 
in specific types of risk in the implementation of specific financial transactions. 
Stage 3 - Creation of a flexible system of risk assessment indicators, which can be 
improved and supplemented. The system must be comprehensive, adequate, dynamic and 
objective. 
Stage 4 - Calculation of probable risks when performing a certain action or inaction. 
The results of a qualitative risk assessment are used to conduct a quantitative analysis, in 
the process of which the numerical values of the probability that a risk event will occur are 
determined, the amount of damage or benefit associated with it is determined. 
2. Quantitative methods for assessing risks in the organization.
These methods are used 
on the basis of the results obtained during the qualitative assessment, that is, only those risks that 
occur at a certain stage of the decision-making algorithm are analyzed (Figure 2). 
Among the most popular methods for quantitative risk assessment in an organization, the 
following should be noted: 
- statistical method; 
- analytical methods; 
- analysis of the financial stability of the enterprise and assessment of its solvency.
