the digital transformation, a digital twin of the university is created, existing in the Internet 
space. 
Digital transformation of higher education is considered in three aspects: 
- building the educational process at the university using digital technologies. 
- Development of digital management systems for the university and the individual 
student (for example, assessment of the degree of material mastery, competencies, construction 
and adjustment of individual educational trajectories). 
- training in digital technologies for professional purposes (both teachers themselves and 
other persons, for example representatives of enterprises and organizations in the framework of 
special courses or retraining and advanced training programs). 
We list the priorities of the digital transformation of higher education: 
1. Training of teaching staff in digital environment. 
2. Inclusion of digital technologies in the development of higher education, ensuring the 
construction of a flexible system of education, achieving high results in the training of graduates, 
organizing research activities, integrating electronic and mixed education; 
3. Formation of digital competencies in all participants in the educational process. The 
university should form digital competencies among graduates in accordance with the needs of 
the economy; 
4. Building an open higher education system, removing regulatory barriers. 
During digital transformation, universities should come to build their own creative and 
innovative space, acting as a model that ensures the continuity of education. When creating a 
creative and innovative space, an educational institution has the right to choose and use various 
interfaces based on its own capabilities. Among digital interfaces it is possible to designate 
directly educational events which are broadcast and held online, for example conferences, 
lectures, experiments, experiments. Also, educational events can be found in the viewing mode 
at any convenient time. 
The necessary interface is the services used by the university for education and 
management. Another interface is the infrastructure, which contains the conditions and rules for 
conducting educational activities. For example, the electronic submission of documents through 
the site of an educational institution just acts as a digital infrastructure. The infrastructure may 
also include an electronic reader's ticket, with the help of which the student virtually enters the 
university's electronic library and familiarizes himself with the necessary educational 
publication. The next element of the interface is projects that are ways to carry out educational 
activities. 
Digital technologies used in universities are different and multifaceted, among them: 
- big data technologies, where artificial intelligence capabilities are applied, accompanied 
by educational activities. 
- Training programs based on deep immersion in the professional environment. 
- cloud technologies aimed at integrating different information resources within the topic, 
scientific field, section of the curriculum in order to simplify the use of them, to carry out various 
design work in the cloud: 
- blockchain technologies. 
- BYOD (Bring your own devices) is a technology that encourages students to use their 
own mobile devices (tablets, laptops, phones, etc.) in the educational process, with the help of 
which educational tasks are carried out. The use of their own mobile devices creates certain 
problems, such as unauthorized shooting or their use in bullying, harassment, other illegal 
actions during classes, which requires additional legal regulation; 
- virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) technologies based on the application 
of various virtual worlds and simulations. 
The use of various digital technologies in higher education should stimulate the 
development of research activities, improve the quality of students' independent work, create a 
new didactic and methodological base of universities that meets the conditions of digitalization,
