GLOCSARY MORPHOLOGY AND PLANT ANATOMY 
Adventive plant organ - pridatochny organ that develops in unusual places. 
Acropetally growth - the formation of lateral branches or parts of the plant body from the 
base to the top. 
Anatomy of plants - botany that studies the plant tissue. 
Androecium - a set of stamens in the flower. 
Anisotropy  -  in  biology  -  the  ability  of  plant  organs  under  the  influence  of  the  same 
environmental factor to take different positions.  
Bazipetalny  growth  -  the  formation  of  lateral  branches  or  parts  of  the  body  of  the  plant 
from top to bottom. 
Botany (Greek - grass, plant) - a complex of scientific disciplines, exploring the realm of 
plants and fungi: the patterns of their internal and external structures; their diversity; features of 
their  life;  regularities  of  their  geographical  distribution  and  their  relationship  with  the 
environment;  the  structure  of  their  vegetation;  characteristics  of  individual  plant  development, 
the  evolution  of  the  plant  world.  Biology  explores  the  variety  of  existing  and  extinct  living 
creatures,  their  structure,  function,  origin,  evolution,  distribution,  and  personal  development, 
communication  with  each  other,  between  communities  and  with  inanimate  nature.  Biology 
examines  the  general  and  particular  patterns  inherent  in  life  in  all  its  manifestations  and 
properties:  metabolism,  reproduction,  heredity,  variability,  adaptability,  growth,  development, 
irritability, mobility, etc.
