Today, as well as the attention paid to each field, a number of opportunities are created for the internationalization of the process of scientific activity and for university teachers, free researchers to conduct the process of scientific activity in cooperation with international partner universities. Significantly, it is gratifying that in recent years the number of international theses and articles indexed in the databases of Scopus and Web of Science has increased.
The university is working to strengthen the scientific field and its international level. In particular, one of the priorities of the International Center for Scientific and Innovative Research "University 3.0" is to carry out a number of effective activities throughout the year for the active participation of doctoral students, freelance researchers and university researchers in the scientific process. This center provides a wide range of opportunities for scientific processes at both domestic and international levels. The center is a division of TSUE, which deals with international educational, scientific innovation and information and communication research.
Today, the university has the following promising strategic goals and plans.
Increasing the international prestige of the university in the QS rankings.
Strategies to rank high in the world university rankings.
Coordinate the publication of articles in Scopus WoS databases and increase the number of articles to 200 per year, etc.
Under TBIS standards we do not have any strategy to develop or work internationally in the field of research and art. We are planning to do these kind standards.
The university also has a department of international cooperation, and one of the priorities of this department is to attract foreign students to the university, to attract foreign teachers to the university, doctoral students, freelancers. attracting applicants to the university. In order to carry out these processes effectively and regularly, university staff have been awarded one-time bonuses based on the high ranking of articles published in Scopus and Web of science journals. In a sense, this will motivate university staff to increase their academic and research potential.
Today, in order to improve the scientific potential of the university in the ranking of international universities, great opportunities are created for university staff to conduct research and exchange views on the best universities in the world.
There is also a strong focus on improving the university’s ranking in international rankings and increasing joint education programs. With this in mind, the following joint educational programs are currently operating at our university.
The university has also introduced a number of additions depending on whether it publishes articles in high-impact journals. Taking into account the articles published during the year, the addition of a certain amount of extra money to the monthly salary also in some sense encourages university teachers to constantly increase their capacity and conduct research.
In addition, work is carried out to encourage not only the material but also the spiritual side of the staff, who regularly take the initiative, participate in international conferences, significantly increase their scientific potential and make a significant contribution to the significant growth of scientific potential of the university. As a clear example of this, on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of our university, more than 100 selfless scientists of the university were awarded the 90th anniversary badge of the university.
Regular work is carried out to further improve the movement of the University in the international arena and the level of international cooperation. To date, the university has concluded mutually beneficial memorandum agreements with about 200 international universities. Today, more than 55 foreign professors and teachers work at our university. It is gratifying to note that the number of international articles and participation in conferences has increased significantly due to the support and guidance of these three professors and teachers. The visiting professor has a great positive impact on the university's research researchers, doctoral students and university teachers.
