The Pottsgrove School District is proud to present

the 2015 edition of the

Pottsgrove High School Falcon Marching Band

This year’s show is entitled: “Outtatime: Celebrating 30 Years of Back to the Future.”
“Marty! You’ve gotta come back with me! Back to the future!” These iconic lines start the second adventure of Marty McFly and Doc Brown as they head into 2015 in order to save Marty’s family. After their adventures in the future, a series of unforeseen mishaps causes Marty and Doc to travel back to 1955 before they can safely return to 1985.
The Back to the Future trilogy has become an important part of American cinematic history. The quotable dialogue and memorable musical score ensure that these films continue to be fan favorites, 30 years after their release. 2015, in particular, is a special year in the history of the series: not only is it the 30^th anniversary of the first film, it is also one of the settings in the second film!
Our show opens with the recognizable Back to the Future theme. We celebrate the music of 1985 with Power of Love, featuring alto saxophone soloist Josiah Thieme, before heading back in time. Mr. Sandman announces our arrival in 1955 and segues into the popular Earth Angel. We close our show by starting with the 1955 classic Johnny B. Goode, which segues back to 1985 as we return to our main Back to the Future theme.
The band is led onto the field by Drum Major Elizabeth Driehaus. Additional student leaders include: Molly Achuff, Jacklynn Ramsey, Caroline Remelius, John Rogers, Aaron Schlosser, Matthew Lance, Emma Powell, Linda Bostwick, and Sydney Martens. All musical arrangements are by Larry Kerchner, and Drill Design is by Bob Yarnall & The Movement Arts Consortium.
