look about, look around, look round
These all mean exactly the same.
How many times in your life have you had the following conversation in a
shop?
'Can I help you?'
'No thanks. I'm just looking round.'
One of the most common meanings of
about
is 'from here to there to
somewhere else'.
Round
in many verbs means 'approximately here' or 'here, but not
urgently' So, 'look in the shop' is direct, but 'look round the shop' is more
relaxed.

look after
Not long ago, childbirth was dangerous, and many mothers lost their lives.
If somebody looked at a new-born baby
after
the mother's death, they
had the responsibility to care for the child. They pledged to look after it.
To look after anybody is to take care of them.

look ahead
It is very difficult to sell pension plans to teenagers. They don't want to
look
ahead
to when they are old.
To look ahead is to look forward in time. When I look ahead, I am trying
to look in the direction I am going. I am trying to predict the future. I am
trying to plan.

No problem.
