Special coverage. Hotels with unique features or services may require special
reports. For example, if golf tee times are booked at a resort’s front desk, a night
audit report may be prepared daily that lists tee times for the coming day. This
report would be delivered early in the morning to those managing the golf
course. If a hotel operates an indoor water park, in-house guest lists designating
the number of adults and children may be helpful for the manager of water park
operations.
FOMs should review the reports generation section of their PMS manuals and
identify the standard reports and template reports available and then learn how to
customize these reports.
