Intercultural Communicative Competence (ICC) is an essential issue in teaching English as a
foreign language (TEFL). ICC is the best way to communicate with native speakers of a target language in
foreign education.
The category of “
professional foreign language communicative competency
” is widely analyzed
and considered both in modern domestic and foreign methodical literature due to its multiaspect nature (V.
A. Adolf, I. L. Bim, N.D. Galskova, I. A. Zimnyaya, I. V. Khaleeva, R. Bader, W. Hutchmacher, etc.). Its
conceptual basis is the study ofthe communicative competence forming problem (I. L. Bim, N. D.
Galskova, O. G. Polyakov, E. R. Porshneva, V.V. Safonova, E. N. Solovova, G. S. Trofimov, A. N.
Shamov, A. V. Schepilova, T. Hutchinson, A. Waters, etc.). The scientific works devoted to students’
various professional competencies forming (especially pre-service teachers) (N. I. Almazova V. I.
Baydenko, E. F. Zeer, I. A. Winter, N. F. Koryakovtseva, O. G. Oberemko, E. R. Porshneva, T. S. Serova
E. N. Solovova, G. S. Trofimov, V. P. Furmanova , A. N. Shamov) are of great actuality and demanded
nowadays (Bezukladnikov, Zhigalev, Vikulina, 2014).
It is important to teach culture equally with language of the target language to achieve good results.
It was said several times that foreign culture is inseparable part of the foreign language
education by great
scientists [1]. May be culture of the language is not so essential part of learning and teaching foreign
languages, but as a part of listening, reading, writing and speaking we should teach learners the culture of
the target language at least [2]. Really we could not learn or teach the language without its culture as
teaching or learning any language without its culture, customs and traditions, everyday life means that the
learned language becomes moldy.
Culture never stays unchangeable, it always changes and it is difficult for foreign language
teachers to be in one level with language changes in this case [3]. In order to learn and develop the
language equally we unquestionably should learn culture of the target language and then we will have
knowledge in ICC. (See picture 1)

Cultural aspects take great part in learning foreign languages. It was said in the introduction of Common
European Framework of Reference (CEFR) and added that sense is unique. If it is so, we should look through
cultural aspects of ICC as its sense is substantial:
