The need to solve the problems of the interaction of society with nature
(socio-environmental interaction) in the era of sustainable development requires
appropriate training for all people and each person. The system of such training
includes not only an increase in the level of socio-ecological education, but also the
formation of appropriate personality traits, in particular socio-environmental
sustainability. Today, the study of this phenomenon is at the initial stages of its
research. However, scientific prerequisites for this are present. One of them is that
special position, which in the era of sustainable development, scientists rightly assign
to environmental, including social and environmental education. So, N.M. Mammadov
justifiably notes the emergence of a new meaning and significance of environmental
education, a generalization of its goals, objectives and content. Ecology today, he
notes, is a complex, socio-natural science, the subject of which is practically connected
with all aspects of human life and activity. In this regard, as well as as a result of socio
economic changes, the need arose to create an advanced model of education, coupled
with the idea of sustainable development of the society and designed to carry out
socialization of the individual on the basis of social and environmental education and
the upbringing of the individual values of ecological culture, i.e. rely on environmental
education in a broad sense [1]. Environmental education in the context of the Concept
