The article describes the socio-spiritual and educational value of cultural and historical
monuments, ways of effective use of educational technologies to improve students’ knowledge
about places of pilgrimage. The importance of receiving “pilgrimage lesson” while improving
theoretical and practical knowledge in the teaching of pedagogy is also considered.
