Introduction
The primary goal of a foreign language as a subject area of education is to master
pupils' capacity to communicate in a foreign language. We are discussing the
development of communicative competence, which is the capacity and willingness to
engage in both direct communication (speaking, listening comprehension) and indirect
communication (reading with comprehension of foreign materials, writing). The
primary and overarching purpose of training is the development of communicative
competence. It is extremely popular nowadays. Perceiving speech by ear is the most
challenging aspect of foreign language communication, according to experience.
However, oral communication, whose importance has grown in recent years, is
impossible without comprehending the interlocutor's speeches, because in the process
of speech interaction, everyone performs both as a speaker and as a listener. Speaking
is a tremendously multifaceted and intricate phenomena. First and foremost, it serves
as a tool of communication in a person's life. Second, one of the sorts of human activity
is speaking.

104
Third, it is vital to recall that the process of speaking produces a product - an utterance.
Speaking, both as an action and as a product, has particular qualities that serve as a
guide in learning since they suggest what conditions must be produced for the growth
of speaking and are also criteria for evaluating learning results.
According to the rule, dialogue is regarded as one of the most efficient techniques of
strengthening and building speaking abilities in foreign language training. Many
teachers have long valued the vast range of choices mixed with the little amount of
time required and the objectivity of the findings. A unique proclivity for speech, the
plasticity of the natural mechanism of speech assimilation, and a certain independence
of this mechanism from the action of hereditary factors related to nationality - all of
this gives the learner the opportunity, under the right conditions, to successfully master
a foreign language.
This capacity gradually deteriorates with age. As a result, any attempt to teach a second
foreign language to older learners (particularly in isolation from the linguistic context)
is frequently fraught with problems. The recent developments in our country's social
and economic life have resulted in profound modifications in a variety of domains,
including the education system and, in particular, the teaching and study of foreign
languages.
The expansion of international contacts and cooperation at all levels, as well as the
school's entry into the global educational space, charge the school with organizing
school education at such a level that students will be able to participate in intercultural
communication in the language being studied and independently improve in the foreign
language-speech activity they master. As a result, in the recent decade, there has been
a greater emphasis on finding strategies to increase the efficacy of foreign language
education.
Any literate person's oral speech differs greatly from his or her written speech. It would
be a mistake to believe that the communicative approach of learning English is solely
meant for casual small conversation. Those who aspire to be professionals in a certain
field study literature on their subject in a foreign language on a regular basis. They can

105
quickly explore a foreign text because they have a vast vocabulary, yet it takes
significant effort to continue a conversation with a foreign colleague on the same issue.
Conclusion
Everyone is aware that there are four methods to acquire a language: hearing, speaking,
reading, and writing. They all work together to help the learner obtain high
achievements in language acquisition.
Listening (listening) may significantly enhance speaking abilities when learning
English. Despite being the very first of the talents, it is neither the easiest nor the most
worthless. If we want to comprehend the language effectively and speak it accurately,
fluently, and meaningfully, we must learn to hear varied English and listen to it
continuously.
