Promise Reward Behaviors: Food There are many ways to trick your brain with promise-reward behaviors. The
family dog and you have something in common. You are both biologically
engineered to perceive food as a reward. Using your favorite snack (in
moderation) or a guilty pleasure will help you to create new cue/reward
associations. This of course can be a slippery slope but it is noteworthy due to
its effectiveness. This is exactly what I did by drinking coffee as a reward after
