Traduisez en français le texte suivant.

During the last riots, many cars were set on fire and numerous display windows were broken by 

the rioters. Several stores were looted and merchandise worth several thousand euros was 

stolen. When the riot police arrived, one person was seriously injured by a Molotov cocktail. 

The victim (La victime) was taken to the hospital where he (elle) was operated on immediately. 

According to the doctors, he is in critical condition. A few people (personnes [f.]) were taken 

into custody. They (Elles) were sentenced to five months in jail. The juvenile delinquent who 

had thrown the Molotov cocktail ran away and has not yet been found by the police. As soon 

as the culprit is caught, he will be arrested and punished. The precise number of victims will be 

known in the coming days.
