diction in patients with deviant behavior in premorbid» contains scientific data 
on the phenomenon of deviant behavior, causes and social factors of deviant be-
havior, including development, clinical features, methods of treatment and reha-
bilitation of alcoholism and opiate addiction, and lastly, the role of deviant behav-
ior during the dependency. 
The second chapter of the dissertation titled "Methodology of premorbid 
factors of alcoholism and opiate addiction with deviant behavior", describes 
the materials and methods of research, contains characteristics of involved patients 
and the methods used, as well as statistical methods by which evaluated the results. 
To solve the tasks related 2010-2015 years, there were carried out a clinical exam-
ination of 200 men undergoing voluntary in-patient treatment for alcoholism stage 
2 and 200 men seeking help for the treatment of opioid addiction in the Republican 
Narcological Centre.

From them:
150 men had (group 1) alcohol combined with deviant behavior in premor-
bide;
50 male alcoholics (group 2) didn’t show the signs of deviant behavior in the 
premorbid; 
150 men (group 3) opiate addiction with deviant behavior symptoms in 
premorbid; 
50 men (group 4) opiate addicts without deviant behavior in premorbid; 
All of the patients are without severe somatic-neurological symptoms and 
accompanied psychiatric disorders in the case history.
Criteria for inclusion in the 1 and 3 groups: men, patients with alcoholism 
and opiate dependence second (secondary) stage of the disease; deviant behavior 
prior to the development of alcoholism and drug addiction; men age 19 to 59 years. 
The exclusion criteria 1 and 3 groups: the presence of men, patients with al-
coholism and drug addiction, psychiatric comorbidity (dementia, gross organic 
CNS lesions, epilepsy, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia), as well as the combination 
of alcohol and drug abuse with dependence on other psychoactive substances; pa-
tients suffering from chronic somatic diseases in the acute phase; age 19 and over 
59 years. 
In order to solve the required tasks there have been used the clinical-
psychopathological, clinical-anamnestic, clinical-katamnestic methods: the scale of 
assessment of the level of intensity of abstinent syndrome, assessment of the level 
of progression of alcoholism (Kravchenko L., 2002; P.I. Sidorov, 2003); question-
naire aimed to identify the classic manifestations of deviant behavior by E.V. 
Zmanovsky; when qualifying premorbid personality characteristics has been used 
the classification P.B. Gannushkina (1933), O.V. Kerbikov (1971), A.E. Licko 
(1977), K. Leonhard (1981); characterizing questionnaire of revealing the accentu-
ation of personality(questionnaire MMA, abbreviation of Mini-mult in adaptation 
L.N.Sobchik). 
To all patients of the research carried out computer-tomographic or mul-
tislice computed tomography study of the brain. 
Statistical analysis of the results was carried out using the methods of varia-
tional statistics. For data analysis with nonparametric distribution method was used 
Spearman's correlation coefficient. The significance of differences was estimated 
on the basis of t-test at the 95% confidence interval (P <0.05). 
Had been conducted the research of patients conducted by method neuro-
visualization with MRI in vascular mode. MRI examination was performed on 
1.5T MRI scanner by Siemens (Germany, 1.5 mm slice) using a vascular mode 
without contrast.
