The word drug is derived from the Greek word meaning "numbness." A disease caused by drug addiction, addiction, or more precisely, temporary or chronic use of toxic substances. Drugs first evoke a feeling of pleasure and peace, and then gradually turn into a disease. Addiction is usually caused by weak-willed, restrained, curious boys, and sometimes girls. There are also drug addiction, cocaine addiction, nicotinism (smoking), theism (drinking bitter tea) and other forms. Chronic use of two or more drugs is polynarcoma. The heroinism type of addiction has become very widespread and tragic in recent years.
When and where did addiction come from? The drug, experts say, came from India to East, South Asia. It spread to Europe in the 50s and 60s. Drug addiction developed around the world in the 1980s. Wild species of poppy, hemp and tobacco grow well in Central Asia, Kazakhstan, the Caucasus and southern Ukraine. Therefore, heroin use is common in these areas. According to doctors, the consequences of addiction lead to chronic diseases such as gastritis, liver cirrhosis, gastric and pancreatic ulcers, pneumonia and pleurisy. A drug addict does not give up anything to satisfy his needs. In the family of people who use or regularly use drugs, children are born with disabilities, disabilities, vulnerabilities. In most cases, they die before birth. In some cases, it even leads to infertility. Drug addiction is the plague of the 21st century. Drug addiction. The defect cannot be cured. It can only be prevented. The drug destroys the cells of the nervous system, lowers the immune system, enhances the growth of tumors. Drugs are becoming a major source of AIDS, a highly dangerous disease. It should not be forgotten that a healthy family life, a healthy environment, an enlightened and spiritual outlook, honesty, purity, diligence, faith, etc. are the factors that protect children from the evils of addiction.
According to Botir Keldiyev, acting UN Special Rapporteur on Drugs and Crime in Central Asia, in 2017, 271 million people between the ages of 15 and 64, or 5.5 percent of the world's population, used drugs. Of these, 35.3 million suffer from the serious consequences of drug use. In 2016, the figure was 30.5 million. It was noted that in 2017, drug use in Uzbekistan: opioids - 51.8%, cannabis - 32.3%, synthetic drugs - 11.0%, polio - 11.0%, other drugs - 15.8%. Of the total number of drug addicts worldwide, 11 million are injected. As a result of this type of addiction, people living with HIV and hepatitis C account for 20.9% of all drug addicts. In 2018, 4779 drug-related crimes were detected in Uzbekistan. 6142 drug addicts were treated in drug dispensaries.
The following information will help to identify the disease in a timely manner, depending on the changes in the behavior and appearance of the addict, and to conduct educational and therapeutic activities.
1. The behavior of a teenager who becomes addicted to drugs suddenly changes. He gets discouraged from studying, misses classes for no reason, his mastery worsens, he falls asleep during lessons, his behavior is rude.
2. If a working teenager is addicted to drugs, he loses interest in work, his ability to work begins to decline, he makes mistakes at work, does not come to work for no reason or arrives late, leaves prematurely.

Appropriate measures have been taken in some countries to prevent the spread of drug addiction. In particular, the Committee on Combating Drug Abuse has been established in the Republic of Uzbekistan. The Center for Narcology has been established in the country, and the Center for Narcology has been established in this center, where qualified scientists and specialists in narcology are trained to fight against drug addiction in different regions of the country. Such patients are treated in an inpatient setting for 2-4 months and under outpatient care for 4-5 years. In our country, people involved in the production and sale of drugs are prosecuted. Special laws and decrees have been developed in this regard. According to the UN resolution of December 7, 1987, June 26 is declared by the UN General Assembly as "International Day against Drug Abuse". In 1996, the National Information and Analytical Center for Drug Control was established under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan. He is now continuing his activities. In 1999, the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances" was adopted. Let's stay away from boys like drugs. Because the next generation will follow our example
