The aim of the lesson: 

Educational:- to learn parts of a day 

Developing:- to enable pupils to listen, read and write about parts of a day, - to enable 

pupils to say what they can do at a particular part of a day 

Sociolinguistic competence:- to raise awareness of routines 

Linguistic competence: By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to: - say parts of a 

day; - say what they do at a particular part of a day; - use the preposition in with parts of 

a day 

Equipments: textbooks, handouts, technical aids, a map of the world, a blackboard and 

a piece of chalk.
