Postmaster – a man who is in charge of a post office. Returned – sent back to the sender or the post office.
To seal – to close (an envelope, bag, etc.) by sticking or pressing two of its parts together.
Recorded delivery – If you send a letter or parcel recorded delivery, you send it using a postal service which gives you an official record of the fact that it has been posted and delivered. In the US people say registered mail.
Zip code (American English) – a short sequence of letters and numbers at the end of your address which helps the post office to sort out the mail. In the UK people use the word postcode instead.

A dialogue between two people in a post office
Postal office clerk: Good morning, what can I do for you today?
Sujon : Good morning. I have to send this parcel to Thailand, please.
Postal office clerk: OK, pass me the parcel through the opened window and let’s see how much it weighs. It weighs 3 kilos. you need to send it by airmail, it will get there in about 7 days.
Postal office clerk: You also have the option of using international signed for.
Sujon : What is that?
Postal office clerk: Same as airmail, but the person in Thailand has to sign for it when the post man delivers it to them.
Sujon : How much does that cost?
Postal office clerk: An extra $5.15 and it is insured up to $50
Sujon : It's OK, 7 days by airmail is fine. How much will sending the parcel be?
Postal office clerk: $10.15. Do you need anything else?
Sujon : Oh, I nearly forgot. I need to buy 2 books of stamps, one first class and the other second class.
Postal office clerk: OK, that will be $15.35.

Customer: No thanks. That’s enough.
Postal Clerk: You forgot to put your return address on the parcel.
Customer: Oh, thanks. I’ll do that now.
Postal Clerk: Is there anything else you’d like?
Customer: Yes. I’d like to buy a package of 25 stamps.
Postal Clerk: Okay. Here you are. The total bill for the parcel and the stamps is $28.50.
Customer: Okay. Here you go.
Postal Clerk: Thank you. Here’s your receipt. Your tracking number is on the receipt.
Customer: Thanks. Oh, by the way. Where is the mail slot?
