associated with the implementation of various kinds of projects. The use of this technology makes
it possible to anticipate all possible forms of work in the classroom: individual, group, collective,
which stimulates the independence and creativity of students.
The implementation of project tasks allows students to see the practical benefits of learning
English, the consequence of which is increased interest and motivation for the study of the
subject. The students’ activity in the lesson and after-hours is significantly enhanced. Even
weak students show interest in the language during technical and creative tasks. By completing
project tasks, students get an opportunity to practically apply their foreign language knowledge.
Students themselves find the necessary information containing valuable country-specific, lexical,
grammatical material, using for this purpose not only the textbook material, but also other sources
of information.
The method of projects forms in students communicative skills, culture of communication, the
power to briefly and clearly formulate thoughts, tolerate the opinion of partners in communication,
to develop the power to extract information from different sources, to process it with the assistance
of recent technology, creates a linguistic environment that contributes to the natural need for
communication during a foreign language.
The project form of work is one of the actual technologies allowing students to apply the
accumulated knowledge of the subject. Students broaden their horizons, expand their language
proficiency boundaries, gain experience from practical use of the language, and learn to listen to
foreign language speech and hear and understand each other when defending projects. Students
work with reference books, dictionaries, computers, thereby creating the possibility of direct
contact with the authentic language, which is not given by studying only with the textbook in the
classroom.
Project work is a creative process. Students work independently or under the guidance of the
teacher to find a solution to a problem, which requires not only knowledge of the language, but
also a large amount of subject knowledge and creative, communicative and intellectual skills.
In a foreign language course, the project method can be used as part of the program material on
almost any topic. Work on projects develops imagination, fantasy, creative and technical thinking,
independence and other personal qualities.
