‘Listen and write.’ Dictate: ‘Bb, Cc, Ee, Ff.’ Make 
a pause after each letter and wait for all the pupils to finish. 
Then continue: ‘bag, dad.’
say: 
‘Give your Workbook to your friend.’ Use gestures to 
help them to understand. 
Then say: 
‘Let’s check!’ Write the letters and words on the 
board for checking. elicit all the results. 
Note: if you find difficult to organize peer checking, check 
the dictation yourself.
