Look at Unit 8, Lesson 1, Warm up activity for the DVD 
script.
Activity 1a Look and say.

Objective: to enable pupils to use “this” to introduce people
STEP 1: Ask the pupils to look at the picture. explain that a 
boy and a girl are introducing their teachers. Draw the pupils’ 
attention to the use of ‘Mrs’ before women’s names, and ‘Mr’ 
before men’s names. 
STEP 2: Divide the class into two. Group A act out the role 
of the schoolgirl and Group b act out the schoolboy. You should 
have the role of the teachers. For example:

Group A: (in chorus) ‘This is my teacher, Mr brown.’
Group b: (in chorus) ‘Good morning, Mr brown.’
You:  ‘Good morning.’
Group A: (in chorus) ‘This is my teacher, Mrs Green.’
Group b: (in chorus) ‘Good morning, Mrs Green.’
You: ‘Good morning.’
