Built in the 4th century BC, Yanbashkala 
has a planned structure and differs from 
Bazarkala in terms of architecture. The 
monument was built in the form of a 
rectangle on the side of the Yanbashkala 
height by engineers who have thoroughly 
mastered 
the 
knowledge 
of 
clay 
architecture. 
Its architectural structure is characterized by numerous spear-axle tires on the inner and 
outer walls. In the middle of the north wall is a gate, which in turn is fortified with a 
rectangular labyrinth measuring 20x52 meters. The monument was a cultural and 
economic center until the IV century AD. Yanbashkala differs from Bazarkala in that 
it is architecturally devoid of constellations. Yanbashkala was a trade and handicraft 
center on the Kyzylkum border, as well as an architectural monument that formed its 
defense.4 (Figure 2)

Archaeological excavations have revealed that in the 4th century BC, as a result of the 
creative policy of the agricultural population on the border of the Kyzylkum, near the 
outlet to stop the movement of irregularly flowing water to the south-east of the 
Kaltaminor irrigation facility. An architectural monument was erected. It is observed 
that the castle differs from the above-mentioned monuments by its planned structure 
and architectural features. It is circular in shape, measuring 86.5 m. Its construction 
history consists of two periods. In the first historical period, it was surrounded by a 
cotton wall, which in turn had circular constellations. In the second period, a square 
brick wall was restored to the cotton wall. The gate is located in the center of the wall 
on the west side and is 18 m long. protected by a rectangular maze. 14 m from the inner 
wall of the monument. The circumference in the center is 42 m. a two-storey structure 
was erected. The circle, the planned structure of the monument, the surrounding wall, 
the gate and its one-elbow labyrinth created an architectural image.5 (Figures 2-3)
