TEACHING 10-12 AGED CHILDREN TO RUN OVER OBSTACLES

The second course student ―Physical Culture women and girls sport department.― 10 – 12 aged children have
inclination to jumping exercises more than doing to use force exercises. The exact planning action , quickness
are considered the main quality for the pupils . In the early period of teaching the children to run over
obstacles we think that we should develop pay attention to the thigh – joint physical actions of the pupils.
The main action of teaching exercises must be done correctly . Running ot running over something must be
successfully done at any obstacles . After it other exercises are taught for example walking up or standing in
their place the pupils may do exercises to run over obstacles .
In this process the last stage of the running track will be at the same height and at the same distance
as others . It consists of 4 or 5 obstacles.
First of all the pupils must learn the technics of running and developing it . They must pay attention to
the speed , quickness and strength . All exercises must be held as a game or competition at the physical training
lessons . The aim is not only to develop pupils interest to the lesson, but also to increase the effectiveness of
teaching level and educate physical quality and develop it. We may give some information about the technics
to run over obstacles and developing exercises.

The practice of teaching how to run over obstacles shows that it doesn‘t always suit the condition to learn the
methods movement. 
For teaching movement skills we can give Table 2 .

We used the complex exercises to teach how to run over obstacles . We found out that 10 -12 aged
children learn easily not only running texnics but also block state exercises too . Every block consists of
certain coordination elements and with the help of it exercises are done in demand of block .

To develop the running skills depend on sport exercises and some elements structure . To learn
every action of the elements at first the pupils must learn early state actions . Early state actions make most
comfortable condition to begin it . 
Table 3 helps learn the texnics of running over obstacles .

In this article we gave some examples that 10 – 12 aged children‘ movement activity must be
developed to run over obstacles at the physical training lessons . 
The main task of the physical culture teachers is to develop adroitness , quickness at the lesson. The
pupils must find the exact plan to develop it . 
This physical quality gives pupils the opportunity to behave themselves free at school it any street
conditions of the life .
