Abstract 

 

This research attempts at exploring language teaching strategies and techniques that can  be used in classroom settings to 

improve  student  learning  in  a  language  other  than  their  native  languages.  This  paper  aims  to  investigate  the  previous 

research  on  models  of  learning  and  raise  teacher  awareness  of  language  learning  and  create  a  resource  bank  of  language 

teaching strategies, ideas and techniques for teachers to use when implementing units of inquiry.
