BACKGROUND INFORMATION ABOUT THE COURSE
The history of Uzbekistan covers the years of independence from the ancient times. The main focus of the process is the emergence of the Uzbek statehood and its developmental stages. At the same time, the economic, social and cultural life of the states is highlighted, especially in the Central Asia Renaissance, its key moments. The history of the Uzbek people is studied and its focus is on Russian and Soviet times, because it is difficult to understand the present era without understanding the meaning and meaning of these periods, especially the significance of our independence, the opportunities it has created, and the challenges ahead. The study of the subject of "History of Uzbekistan" ends with the period of independence. In these years, the society is thoroughly investigated in various fields, its essence, results and problems.
A comprehensive and profound study of the history of our homeland, based on the primary sources, is bringing up the younger generation with the help of a true history, bringing them up to the highest spiritual level.
The teaching of this subject is based on scientific-methodological principles and uses new pedagogical technologies.
The aim of the course is to teach the younger generation the sense of national history, national pride, to educate them in their historical memory, to educate their historical mindset, to form critical thinking skills and high moral qualities, to enrich their spiritual world, their devotion to their nation and Homeland, to be thinking and living in the spirit of being an active participant of creativity.
Five thematic themes correspond to five major sections of the course.
1. The subject of "History of Uzbekistan", theoretical-methodological foundations, sources and significance of its study. It is an integral part of the Central Asia-world civilization. Formation of Uzbek statehood and stages of initial development.
2. Formation of Uzbek statehood and stages of initial development. Uzbek statehood in IX-XII centuries. Socio-political and economic life. A tremendous contribution of our ancestors to the development of world civilization. The fight against the Mongol invasion and oppression. Jaloliddin Manguberdi - our brave and courageous ancestors. Socio-economic, political and cultural life in the times of Amir Temur and Timurid.
3. The decomposition of Central Asian lands to khan, its causes and consequences. The occupation of the Uzbek Khanates by the Russian Empire National Liberation Movement against Colonialism. Jadid.
4. Establishment of dictatorial Soviet power in Turkestan. (1917-1924) The policy of the Soviet power in Uzbekistan in 20-30 years, its essence and its consequences. Political repression. The contribution of the Uzbek people to the victory over fascism in World War II. Colonialism of the Soviet government's socio-political and economic activities in Uzbekistan (1946-1989) Uzbekistan's independence (1989-1991).
5. Obtaining the state independence of Uzbekistan. Building a legitimate democratic state and shaping the foundations of civil society. Socio-economic, spiritual and cultural development of Uzbekistan in the years of independence. Uzbekistan and the world community.
Education is based primarily on individual tasks at every stage. Individual assignments will be made from the first session. At the same time lectures contain theoretical material.
REQUIREMENTS FROM THE LEADERSHIP
There are no pre-requisites for this course.
RESULTS IN THE COURSE
Studying this subject, students will:
1. It is necessary to have a general idea of the history of the Uzbek people, the main stages of the history, the continuity, permanent change and development of the historical process.
2. Knowledge of the ethnogenesis of the Uzbek people.
3. To understand the history of formation and development of Uzbek statehood and its relationship with our present state.
4. Has a national consciousness, a historical memory, and proud of their ancestors.
They need to know:
• the main facts and stages of development in the history of Uzbekistan;
• The reasons and main directions of development of the history of our motherland;
• The political traditions of Uzbek statehood, its history;
Doing the following;
- to analyze, study and explain the reasons and essence of the historical and cultural processes in the regions of our country from the earliest times;
- Determine the relationships between the causes and consequences of the past processes;
- comparison of historical events and conclusions;
- Working with scientific literature, searching for necessary information;
- Use of acquired knowledge;
- Analysis of the current world situation.
Getting the following practical features:
- Writing creative works (synopsis, lectures) using scientific literature;
- to impartially evaluate the activities of state figures, great generals, scientists and cultural figures, national heroes, who have devoted themselves to the economic and cultural development of the country in various periods of history,
- Work with legal and normative documents;
- Have your own opinions and defend them.
- Understanding the essence of the ongoing reforms in the country and the ongoing modernization of the country, innovations in the construction of a legal democratic society, processes of integration of Uzbekistan into the international community.
