LITERARY TRANSLATION - GENUINE CREATION 
The art of translation develops in harmony with the science and culture in 
the world. As all translators cannot live without enjoying the masterpieces 
created, written, constructed, or invented by others and acquiring the gained 
knowledge up to them. Translation is very obliging in this process. A 
translation should not be accepted as an exact copy, or a mechanical repetition 
of a work created by another folk writer or poet. Translation is an important 
factor in the creative mastery of the artistic beauty of another language for its 
people, showing the power of the new language and its power and 
expressiveness. At the same time, translation serves to make new waves of 
artistic thinking created in one language sound more attractive in another. 
Today, the role of literary translation is growing exponentially. We can 
see that the attention and need for translation and interpreter is growing day by 
day, it can be seen in the life relevance of the cooperation with foreign countries 
in various spheres. The need for translators will never be diminished, even if 
the foreign language is well taught and the work of art in the foreign language 
is as intelligible as in the native language for its reader. Since a work of art is so 
closely connected with the environment, national life and art of the country, it 
can only be understood and fully comprehended by those who read the work in 
their native language and the translators as well. 
In particular, artistic translation of a text is the most difficult of the 
written types of translation. The translator must have a perfect knowledge of 
both languages, a gift of speech, a sense of language, as well as artistic ability, 
the talent of a writer or a poet. 
A complete literary translation is a means of recreating a work in the 
context of another language culture, preserving the realities of the originality, 
but conveying them in a way that is understandable to a representative of 
another nation.

Translating masterpieces of Uzbek literature is important not only for the 
enjoyment of Uzbek prose and poetry by readers around the world, to introduce 
it to the world stage, but also it benefits to show the richness and diversity of 
Uzbek culture and literature.
It‘s no exaggeration to say that this goal is at the heart of the preparation 
of this collection for publication. It includes an English translation of stories 
from the collection "Deeds of the World" by Utkir Hoshimov, a leading figure 
in Uzbek literature. This literary translation was done by a group of students of 
the Faculty of Foreign Philology, in particular Khudoyshukur Abdiev, Ogabek 
Ruzmetov, Nigora Pirnafasova, Gulmira Bekchanova, Aziza Uskinova, 
Shohista Sultanova, Hajibibi Ibragimova and Nodira Azatova under the 
supervision of Saparbaeva Gulandam Masharipovna the senior lecturer and 
translator of Translation theory and practice department of Urgench state 
university. 
In conclusion, the translator is a messenger who conveys the spirit and soul 
of one nation to another. The hard work of translator should be appreciated. The 
culture and literature of each nation find its place on the world stage through the 
translation. Literary translation should not be limited to the knowledge of 
language only, but also it should convey the essence that reveals the heart of the 
nation. In that sense, we hope you enjoy the current translation. We look 
forward and appreciate the further comments on the drawbacks and success of 
this piece of translation.
