Agility and technical exercises: (keepers working in 2’s) 
 
One man advance game: 
You shout go as a coach and the G turns, sprints around cone O1 and 
advances back into the goal. The S lets him get into the goal, shouts 
‘Stop Set!’ then serves low to right. The G gets up and does the same 
again. But this time the S serves to his left. 
This can be progressed to knee and hip height. 
You can also have 10, 12 16! Keepers working at once. See (B) set up 
You can also do scoop techniques and sliding at forwards feet technique.

Agility and technical exercises: (keepers working in 2’s) 
 
Change direction drill 
You shout GO as a coach, and the keeper side steps left touching the 
cone with his left hand, side steps back across his goal and touches the 
cone with his right hand, then takes a shot (Serve) to his left from the S. 
This can be progressed, so keeper ends up with a diving finish to his 
right. Service can also be along floor, hip and knee height. Also S are not 
trying to beat keepers, merely stretching them. 
You an also have a long line of 4 goals (8 keepers working in total). You 
could mirror this eight and have 16 keepers working. This session looks 
great from a outsider looking in.
