Jizzakh region is located between Tashkent and Samarkand, in the Sanzar river valley. The region is located at the foot of the Nuratau mountains. Once it was an oasis through which the Silk Road passed. In the Jizzakh region, mountains, steppe and desert landscapes are uniquely combined.
