International activities

The international activities of the Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute are aimed at integrating the institute into the world scientific and educational space and the business community. Expansion and strengthening of positions in the international scientific and educational space through the development of internationalization and the expansion of cross-border mobility of students, graduate students, scientific and pedagogical workers and representatives of the administration.

INTERNATIONAL PROJECTS

The Institute is actively involved in international projects. On the basis of the "INTRAS" project of the European Union ERASMUS + program, the Institute conducts research work in cooperation with the Universities of the European Union. The goal of the project, which costs 65,500 euros, is to create new master's programs in Uzbekistan specializing in transport systems based on information and communication technologies.

In 2020, the institute became the owner of the following grants:

1. 
   Joint project "TRIGGER- Triggering innovative approaches, entrepreneurial skills and attitudes in HEI learners through creating the favourable conditions for graduate’s employability in Central Asia " in cooperation with the Technical University of Kosice (Slovakia), Vienna University of Applied Sciences (Austria), University of Nice (France) and the University of Rijeka (Croatia), as well as with the universities of Tajikistan and Kazakhstan at a cost of 999,573 euros.
   
2. 
   The project " Reinforcing capacities of HEIs for leather and leather products in Uzbekistan-Kazakhstan - REILEAP" with the participation of the Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute and the Center for Women Inventors is aimed at the innovative development of leather production in Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. This project is being implemented in collaboration with the Polytechnic University of Crete (Greece), the Aegean University (Turkey), Yashi University (Romania) and two universities in Kazakhstan. The cost of the project is 914,603 euros.
   

Grant project of the Fund for Academic Innovation of the World Bank worth 100,000 US dollars in cooperation with the "DataNet Project" company on the topic "Creation of a center for vocational guidance of pupils and a joint educational laboratory of electronics"

The Institute actively cooperates in the field of educational programs with the World Bank, ADB, Koica, GIZ.

Academic mobility

Under the student exchange program, students of the institute study in higher educational institutions of Russia, China, Japan, Germany and Korea in the areas of undergraduate and graduate programs.

The Institute has 15 sports clubs. A memorandum of cooperation was signed with the federations of rugby, hand-to-hand fighting, badminton. In addition, republican, regional and city competitions in various sports are held on the basis of the sports town.





STUDENT DORMITORY

In the Student Dormitory of the Institute for 400 places, conditions for life, independent work and rest have been created for students. There are also clubs for sports, arts, sewing, foreign language learning and many more. For example, "Art", "Design", "Vocal and Dutar", "Sewing and Weaving" and others. In order to create meaningful conditions for the leisure of students, they have spiritual and educational rooms, reading rooms and are equipped with the necessary equipment. There is also a living room (parent), living room, laundry room and kitchen. The student dormitory has medical offices and first aid is provided to students.
