Introduction to Romance-Germanic Philology I. V. Panferova, PhD

 

The aim of this lecture is to study the main tendencies of development of the Romance-

Germanic  languages  and  to enlarge the knowledge about the  linguistic  features  of  the  language 

functionality. 

 

The objectives of this lecture are:  

-to discuss sociolinguistic typology of the Romance-Germanic languages,  

- to indicate language peculiarities of tendency of bilingualism,  

- to compare various features of normalization, 

- to highlight the prospective tendencies of the Romance-Germanic languages. 

During  the  lecture  presentation  we  have  used  the  following  research  methods:  analysis, 

synthesis, description,abstractingand comparative approach.
