data about the underground system. The data include date 
opened, length of route and number of passengers per years in London, Paris, Tokyo, 
Washington DC and Los Angeles . 
As we can observe from the table the London subway system is the oldest system 
over the other cities and it was opened 1863. While the Los Angeles system is the 
newest one over the other cities and it was opened in 2001.
Good
Moreover, the London underground railway is the longest route and it is about 394 
kilometres. While the Kyoto is the shortest railway and it is around 11 kilometres 
in 
length. However, Los Angeles is considered 
the
second shortest railway system and 
that 
is approximately 
28 kilometres.
