Эта простая и в то же время очень нужная идиома при-
зывает собеседника не ходить вокруг да около, а сразу пе-
рейти к делу. Слово straight употребляется в ней в своем 
основном значении — «напрямую». Вы можете прервать 
многословного собеседника, не решающегося перейти к 
главному, начав свою фразу с let’s (Let’s get straight to the 
point), или облечь свою просьбу в форму вежливого во-
проса (Could you please just get straight to the point?), или 
сделать это так, как показано в образцах к упражнениям.
