Current applications of robots
However, today, due to the development of technology, different types of robots are used in various fields, striving to constantly improve their design, research and efficiency, and are used in domestic, commercial, medical, military and other fields. of course as an aid in mathematics, technology, engineering and science.
Robots can be designed in any shape and appearance, but some of them are especially designed to look human, which makes them better able to accommodate people who have to work with them.
As more and more robots are developed in the world every day, finding a way to classify them is becoming increasingly important. This is because robots have different characteristics and they can’t do more than the work they are designed to do. For example, a robot designed to assemble machines cannot be adapted to other functions. In this case, this robot is called an “assembly robot”. Other robots are part of a complete set of equipment, such as a welding machine. And some are especially designed for high-demand workplaces. The method of arranging a large number of robots available includes their operation as stationary robots (mechanical arms), cylindrical robots, spherical robots, parallel robots, wheeled robots (single, two or three wheels), robots can be through the use of the system. legs, two-legged robots (humanoid shape), floating robots, flying robots, spherical and moving robots (like robotic spheres), and a swarm of small robots.
However, a more accurate classification than their form is made according to the task for which they are developed. Undoubtedly, this division will grow over time as the design of robots becomes increasingly unique.
Industrial robots are manipulators designed to perform a range of planned tasks in a moving, manufacturing, and manufacturing environment of materials, parts, and tools. These types of robots are redesigning the industry because they allow hazardous and repetitive tasks to be performed at high productivity and without error. That is why it is becoming more and more common to find them in various factories.
