Information about robots
Robot (Czech: robot - "labor") - an artificial mechanical device. It is usually an electromechanical system that performs human labor. The word robot can also refer to virtual software agents, but they are generally referred to as bots.
A robot can also be called a machine that partially or completely performs human functions in life-threatening conditions (strong radiation, high temperatures, etc.) and in difficult-to-reach objects (under water, in space). The term robot was first used in 1920 by the Czech writer Karel Chapek in his play Robot U. Robot.
Robots are basically divided into three types: robots that run on a fixed program, robots that are controlled by a human operator, and robots that are artificial intelligence (integrated). Both the appearance and the behavior of robots are reminiscent of humans, meaning that they are anthropomorphic (human-like) machines and differ from other machines in this respect. There are two main types of robotics: industrial robotics and emergency robotics. The Industrial Robot, for example, has a "mechanical arm" in the robot manipulator and an external control or built-in software control device, a computer. The operator controls the movement of P.'s hands directly or by watching the TV screen. Often the robot is equipped with an automatic control system. Robot manipulators are mainly used in extreme conditions that are dangerous to human health. Robots are the most effective means of automating processes.
The use of robots is expanding. Mac, a robot "geologist" who can work at depths of up to 6,000 meters in Japan, a robot who "reads" notes and plays an electric guitar, a "barber" who shears sheep's wool in Australia, and a "diver" who can work underwater in the United States. In Germany, robots work for the police (they are tasked with unlocking cars loaded with explosives). In all countries where the automotive industry is developed (including Uzbekistan), robots are involved in assembling cars (especially welding). The inventors are working on a robot that can control a car. A variant of such a robot was created in Volkswagen (VW) zdida (Germany). Nicknamed "Klaus", this robot was introduced in 2000. It has 3 arms and 3 legs, not 2 arms and 2 legs like other robots. The robot also participated in the 2002 show, but has yet to be put into practice. Experiments on such robots are also being conducted in Japan.
