Clothes=clothing

Clothing means much for people. First, it helps us to feel warm and comfortable. Besides, it expresses man’s character and style. We all have different clothes everyday jeans and shirts, business suits and elegant evening gowns. Business people usually wear strict suits with ties, women put on skirts and blouses, but without bright decorations. But if you don’t have any special meeting, just put on something light, such as leggings with a T-shirt or a tracksuit. Also, put on your favorite sport shoes and have a nice pleasant walk. We all like summer, when we wear open dresses and shorts, sandals or street slippers. But when the weather is cloudy and chilly, we put on warm trousers with a pullover or a sweater. Some people wear woollen caps with jackets or anoraks, others prefer fashionable coats with hats. In winter, when the weather is cold, we wear fur coats with fur caps.
You will look nice with a beautiful colored scarf and high-heeled high-boots. When it is cool, people wear leather gloves, but small children usually have woollen mittens. Some people prefer long raincoats, others choose sport jackets. When we are at home, we wear comfortable gowns and home slippers. And when you go to bed you put on your nightgown or pajamas. There are also some cases, when you want to look beautiful. You wear luxurious party frocks with delicate decorations, such as brooches, special buttons and trimmings. In such cases everything is very important, even your underwear. You will look great, if you add some details-a tender chain or a necklace, a bracelet or a gold ring, a hairpin or evening earrings. A light make-up will be the last touch. But don’t forget about your favorite perfume. Just a drop of it and you are a princess of the ball.

A Visit to the Museum

1. The town I live in is not very large and there are no big galleries and museums in it. 2.But we have a good Natural History museum in our town. 3. Last week I was on an excursion there. 4. First we listened to a lecture on a history of our region, which was very interesting. 5. Then a guide showed us the exposition of the museum. 6. We walked through its halls looking at different stands with exhibits. 7. There were ancient vases and coins, dishes and bowls, tools and arms. 8. The guide told us about the origin and the age of the exhibits and answered our questions. 9. The girls asked questions about national costumes and dishes and the boys were interested in arms. 10. The next hall was even more interesting. 11. There we saw stuffed animals and birds. 12. It was a small zoo of the region nature. 13. There was also an aquarium full of different fish, tortoises and shells. 14. The collection of minerals was interesting too. 15. I have learned very much from my visit to the museum.
