2. Umumiy so’roq gaplar.

Umumiy so’roq gaplar o’zlashtirma gapga if/ whether bilan o’zlashadi va gap darak gap shakliga o’tadi.

Ex: He said “Are you a student?”

He said “Do you live here?”

He said “Can you speak English?”
He asked me if I was a student.

He wanted to know if I lived there.

He wondered if I could speak English.
3. Maxsus so’roq gaplar.

Qaysi so’roq olmoshi bilan ishlatilgan bo’lsa o’zlashtirma gapda o’sha so’roq olmoshidan keyin darak gap shaklida beriladi.

Ex: She asked “Where do you live?”

He asked “When will you come?”

She asked me where I lived. (not where did you live)

He asked me when I should come. (not when should I come)

AMMO: Who va what kabi egani bildiruvchi so’roq olmoshlardan so’ng yordamchi fe’l kelishi mumkin.

Ex: He asked “Who did you see yesterday?”

Teacher asked “Who is on duty?”

He asked me who I had seen the day before.

Teacher asked who was on duty.
