Objectives: to give an opportunity to work creatively, to revise the Future Simple; to give further practise in talking about
sculpture Ask PP to work in pairs or groups to dicsuss their ideas and come up with a plan. They should note down their ideas and be ready to present them to the class. When some groups have finished, stop the activity and ask group's to tell the class about their sculptures.

PROCEDURE OF THE LESSON:
Activity 1 Work in pairs. Read the statements and say which you agree with and which you disagree with. Add one more statement of your own.
Objectives: to practise expressing opinions; to enable PP to talk about art;
to prepare for the next activity PP read the statements, say their opinions and add one of their own.

Activity 2a Read, listen and answer the question.
Obiective: to practise reading for gist
Ask PP to read the text and answer the questions.
Activity 2 b Work in pairs. Read and complete the notes.
Objectives: to practise reading for detail, to practise making notes; PP read the text and complete the notes.
Activity 2c Find the words in bold in the conversation. Translate them.
Objectives: to present 'in spite of; to practise inferring the meaning of an expression from the context PP find 'in spite of in
the text. Ask them to guess the meaning from the context. If they have difficulties explain the meaning yourself.
Post – activity

Obiective: to give freer practice in talking about art
PP answer the questions in groups. Try to listen to all groups' answers You could write their suggestions on the BB
NOTE: Ask PP to look at the homework with you. They should bring pictures to the next lesson. Tell them to bring pictures of different kinds of painting. There should be some information written on them - title, date, painter. The Pictures should be big enough to see the details.
