Introduction
Foreign language teachers often complain that at first, students are absolutely all eager to learn the language, but by the end of the first year of study, when they encounter the first difficulties, there are fewer such children, and after a few years there are only a few. How to make sure that the desire to study the language does not fade away, but, on the contrary, grows? After all , when any business turns out, and successfully, you want to do more and more, there is an irresistible desire to improve. After all, learning must be successful!
And therefore, the use of authentic material in the lessons of a foreign language allows students to get to know the peculiarities of the culture of the language being studied and compare them with their native culture. A significant role is played by illustrative clarity - paintings, photographs, cartoons, diagrams, collages, slides and much more. With the help of visualization , students better learn the material being studied and remember it better.
The visibility of learning is one of the principles of didactics, according to which people are taught based on the perception of certain objects, processes of the material world or their images.
Visualization can be used in all classes of the main school where a foreign language is studied, taking into account the age characteristics of students.
Visualization can be subject, visual, language, sound. In the methodology of teaching a foreign language, the following types of visualization are most widely used: sound, natural, graphic, picture, newspaper illustration.
Natural visualization includes the demonstration of real objects when introducing new vocabulary.
For the purpose of linguistic clarity, sound clarity can be used: a tape recorder, film loops, a film fragment and technical teaching aids.
Thus, we believe that the topic of this thesis is relevant, since in modern conditions a teacher in foreign language lessons must use technical teaching aids and various types of visual aids.
