CONCLUSION
Linguists have conducted in-depth research on the analytical discussions of the English and Uzbek languages, and today, after the attention of the President of the Republic of the Uzbekistan to education in our country, the English language has further developed and increased the pace of learning with great interest among young people.
Such attention paid by our government encourages young people to do new research for the development of the country and science.
Our dissertation is devoted to the problem of translating English riddles into Uzbek and their solutions, and during our research we came to the following conclusions:
In the theoretical part of our dissertation, we have defined the concept of riddle and its literary and historical richness of language and its place in the development of language.
We have found that the study and analysis of riddles in English also requires the study of the culture and customs of the people who speak that language.
Since riddles have long spoken of the way of life, culture, customs, and daily habits of the mind, we have found that the study of riddles is a way to study the cultural history of that language.
Since English and Uzbek are languages that do not belong to the same language family and category, the difference between them was noticeable, and we witnessed this difference when we analyzed the riddles.
We encountered a number of problems in the process of translating the puzzles. One of them is the linguistic cultural difference in the content of the puzzles being translated. English is widely spoken in European countries and overseas countries, and we have found in the example of riddles that their culture differs sharply from the culture of Asian countries.
Another translation problem was due to the fact that the riddles being translated differed in terms of language phonetics, ie English phonetics and Uzbek phonetics are completely different from each other, and we understood this through examples.
The next problem was that in the process of translating English riddles, problems related to the grammar of the English language arose. In Chapter 3 of our dissertation, in one of the analysis tables, you can find a puzzle dedicated to the exact article “the”. However, this grammatical unit does not exist in Uzbek.
The next problem is that in the process of translating English riddles, we noticed that many riddles were hidden due to the lexical and semantic nature of English words, and we gave alternative solutions and options in translating such riddles into Uzbek.
In Chapter 3 of our dissertation, we analyzed each puzzle encountered in the translation process and gave them an alternative solution, and offered to translate the non-translatable puzzles by replacing them with other similar Uzbek puzzles with the same answer.
