Classification of robots
There are several classification methods. According to the nature of the work done, the machines are divided into industrial, construction, agricultural, transportation, domestic, military, security, medical and research.
Depending on the type of control, they are divided into operator-controlled, semi-autonomous and fully autonomous.
The first type of car is simply a remote-controlled car (the simplest example is a radio-controlled car or helicopter for children). It can perform some of the semi-autonomous operations independently, but still requires human intervention. Fully autonomous robots perform all operations independently (e.g., manipulators of automatic assembly lines).
The following classes of robots are divided according to the level of mobility: stationary and mobile. Stationary are all manipulators commonly seen in car factories, for example. The mobile is additionally divided into walking, wheeled or track.
Modern production drummers
Various industrial production is a network where the main part of modern automatic devices finds practical application.
The history of industrial robotics dates back to 1725, when a punch tape was invented in France, used to program machines.
The beginning of production automation coincided with the beginning of mass production of automatic machines on punched cards in France in the 19th century.
The first conveyor line for assembling machines was installed in 1913 by Henry Ford at his factory. Assembling a car took about an hour and a half. Of course, this line was not as fully automated as it is now, but it was a transition to a qualitatively new stage of production.
Official use in the manufacture of robots began in 1961, when the first officially manufactured manipulator was installed at the General Motors plant in New Jersey. This machine worked on hydraulic discs and was programmed by a magnetic drum.

The development of industrial automation coincided with the 70s of the twentieth century. In 1970, the United States created the first type of modern manipulator for industrial use: it has an electric drive with six degrees of freedom and is controlled by a computer. In parallel, changes have been made in Switzerland, Germany and Japan. In 1977, the first robot made in Japan was released.
In the early 80s, General Motors began to automate production, and in 1984 Russia began to do the same - AvtoVAZ received a license from the German company KUKA Robotics for the independent production of robots. However, the palm is still in the hands of the Japanese — in the mid-1990s, two-thirds of the world’s total number of robots were assembled in Japan, now close to half that.
Today, it is almost impossible to imagine a car or other production without mechanical assistants. The first place is taken by automatic welding machines. The accuracy of robotic laser welding is one-tenth of a millimeter. Such a device is capable of splitting metal into parts at the same time.

This is followed by loading and unloading operations, delivery of blanks to machines and storage of finished products.
The third place in terms of automation is occupied by the forging and casting industry. Today, almost all such workshops in Europe are robotized, because the working conditions there are very difficult for people.
Other operations most commonly used by automatic machines today are pipe bending, hole drilling, milling, and surface grinding.
