• Idioms have always caused a lot of arguments, in terms of both meaning(translation) and parsing. One of the best way to identify true meaning is just searching for alternatives. However, as a translator or a person who knows particular language we can do it from beginning till the end with high accuracy. For this, we might use different methods.
• In this task, firstly I have separated the whole sentence into simple ones, then expressions and chunks. During the process of learning chunks, I encountered much more information and examples than I had thought.
• By the way, in this presentation I paid closer attention to the “be it” than others.
