Annotation.
 Modern educational technologies in
the formation of foreign language communicative competence of students
of a pedagogical university are updated. The article considers the use of information and 
communication
technologies in teaching a foreign language at a university. 
Modern educational technologies are proposed for the formation of foreign-
language communicative competence of students of a pedagogical university, based
on practical experience of working at the Volgograd State Social
and Pedagogical University in the course of the discipline "Foreign Language".
