Thus, the use of ICTs in practical classes of the discipline "
Foreign language" in higher education institutions can improve the quality of the educational
process due to
their visual and auditory impact on the student, as well as increase
the level of motivation to learn a foreign language, which appears in a
student due to the
presence of a creative aspect in the preparation and conduct of classes.
The process of mastering the discipline "Foreign language" is based on
traditional and innovative technologies of teaching foreign languages,
aimed at:
for the development of creative activity;
formation of cognitive interest in learning a foreign language in young people
students of non-linguistic specialties of the university;
mastering the skills of conducting a discussion
in a foreign language, clearly
stating and defending one's own position in oral and written form in a
foreign language;
development of the ability to master the methods of analyzing a foreign-language text;
developing the ability to identify problem situations and
find optimal solutions
possible solutions;
gain experience working in a team;
encouraging independent student activity in the discipline
"Foreign language";
development of the ability to introspect, self-control and adequate self-esteem.
Analysis of the work of teachers and psychologists leads to
the conclusion that
communication in the educational
process should be organized on the basis of playful, productive,
cognitive activity of students,
their joint subject-
oriented activity. Having studied the modern Russian and foreign methodological
literature, it can be noted that in recent years interactive teaching methods have become more
often used in the process of teaching foreign languages. The main goal
of the communicative function of active teaching methods is to promote the formation
of students ' communicative competence.
Volgograd State Social and Pedagogical University uses the
following methods and educational technologies to develop students '
communicative competence
in non-linguistic faculties
: project activity method with subsequent presentation and
project defense, brainstorming method, creative tasks method, case
study method, game
technologies, etc.
So, within the framework of mastering the section "Self-presentation", the
method
of creative tasks
is used, which consists in creative work "Allow
me to introduce myself" and involves independent development of an idea by students
