Our dissertation devotes to “Using authentic materials on developing students lexical competence.

Topicality of the research is to carry out in a methodology of teaching English as a foreign language to provide of an actual strategy and method of teaching for the efficacy of lexical competence through authentic materials. The essential focus of the study is to investigate the effects of lexical competence while in the second place developing students’ lexical competence or active vocabulary with the activities of this method are studied.

The object of the research is implementation of different strategies and methods in the development lexical competence. The subject of the research is to categorize and identify types of strategies and methods

Methods of research. Indirect method, communicative language teaching,, content based approach, task based approach, integrated approach.

The degree of novelty of the research. The research is basically dedicated to the implementation of lexical competence through different authentic materials at educational establishments. Increasing students’ active and passive vocabulary by appropriate strategies and methods.

Theoretical value of the research is to analyze scholars’ and researches, different ideas, viewpoints and theoretical and psychological conclusion.

Practical value and degree of embed is the usage of lexical competence with authentic materials in language classes.
